The mountains Stuifen and Rechberg belong to the three Kaiserberge. The third Kaiserberg - the mountain Hohenstaufen - is located west of the Rechberg and can be seen from the meadow below the sign. It carried the ancestral castle of the imperial family of the Staufer. All three mountains offer a magnificent view of the landscape and are worth a visit at any time of the year.

Der Rechberg

The Rechberg mountain

The Rechberg mountain is located south of Schwaebisch Gmuend and is 707 meters high. There is still a well-preserved castle ruin and the pilgrimage church of St. Maria on it.

Der Stuifen

The Stuifen mountain

At 757 meters, the Stuifen mountain is the highest of the three emperor-mountains. In 2011, a wooden cross with a height of twelve meters was erected on the west side of the Stuifen, facing the other two mountains.

Das Schwarzhorn

The Schwarzhorn mountain

The Schwarzhorn mountain, also called Rechbergle (Swabian for small Rechberg mountain), is located southeast of the Stuifen mountain and is almost 700 meters high. On the way to the Schwarzhorn you pass the beautifully situated oratory Reiterleskapelle.
